The Rossville Food Pantry offers food, paper, and personal products provided by the federal government, local churches, service organizations and concerned citizens.

These products are distributed the first Tuesday of each month between 9:30am - 12pm at the Rossville Presbyterian Church

Rossville Food Pantry qualifications:

A person or family must live within the Rossville Consolidated School District
There must be a financial need, which is based on a household income of 165% of the poverty line income guidelines set by the federal governmentotline Number

Requirements

Participants must live within the Rossville Consolidated School District boundaries
Help is limited to 1x per year
Participants must fill out an application and complete an in-person interview during designated program hours
Applicants may request assistance with any of the following bills:
- utilities (gas, water, electric, garbage)
- medical/prescriptions
- fees associated with Pre-K-12 education
- other possibilities to be considered on a case-by-case basis
There is no guarantee that assistance will be provided

Process for Assistance

Call or text the hotline number and leave a message
will return your call or text and give you details about what to bring, date, time, and location for an interview
Come at the intake time (bring your bills) fill out an application, and participate in a short interview
Someone will contact you within 3 days of your interview to share assistance decision. Bills would be paid directly to the vendor if you are granted assistance.

Rossville Cares Community Ministry is dedicated to providing short term assistance to local families and individuals in need. We accomplish this mission by supplying basic resources to meet physical emotional and spiritual needs.
